When you give learning a priority then, nothing can stop you from living your vision. This is exactly what did happen when some amazing people made time on a Sunday and spent some quality time in the High Performance Alchemy Masterclass. Sharing some of the insights for those of you who could not attend the same and would love to the next time.
Focus is one of the most important aspects in any executive’s growth. The key learning was that to keep the daily to-do list small and not load it with everything. Focus on completing 3-4 most important tasks for the day and give it your all. This leads you to prioritize your activities to ensure you are getting the best return on your energy and time.
Working on goals is a critical factor. Goals should be time-bound and the exact description of the goal will eventually get you there. Most of the people only do wishful thinking. Hence they falter in getting to their goals. You do not have to make the same mistake.
Work on your strengths. No one is talented in all the areas. Focus your energy on amplifying the strengths of yours rather than trying to do everything at the same time.
Change your perception of things. When you look at a challenge you are facing right now as an opportunity to learn and expand, then you will operate at a different level. Each one of us do have the opportunity every day to see the things we want in an optimistic or pessimistic way. What you choose is your prerogative.
Be fearless in giving credit. When you acknowledge someone else’s job or effort, it does more good to you than anybody else. This is one of the key factors in helping you build your trust and further, your company growth.
Every person we tend to meet is a potential door opener for a new opportunity. This was so very true in this Masterclass. It is imperative that when you are nice to people, you build trust and relations which can help one and another down the road. When you spend a whole day with like-minded people from different industries and background the time spent is priceless.
There are immense benefits in developing the gut feeling. There is enough research out there to prove that the gut-mind connect is real and some of the most effective leaders use it on a consistent basis. Working on knowing your gut and do things every day to strengthen the gut feeling.
Your focus is the key when it comes to making an impact in your profession. Without guided focus, there are chances that you will not get the desired outcome. Always wake up every day and challenge yourself to do great work that makes an impact.
To be energetic, you must move away from processed food. Eat more natural foods like vegetables and fruits and drink at least 8-10 glasses of water. If you are looking at fine-tuning your emotions then stay away from any processed food.
Try to learn one new thing a day. This could be as simple as a new way of looking at things or even a new habit. Over time, learning one new thing a day will shape you into awesomeness.
Work on your value system. See people who you can relate to and learn from them. Once you do know your value system, it is that much easier to look for people with similar values. This will be a foundation for your massive growth in the future.
The most important task of the day to be done first thing in the morning. The reason is that most of the people have a tank full of energy in the morning and spending some time working on the most important tasks will spur you to gain more momentum as the day progress.
Also, there was brilliant sharing in the Masterclass. Each one of them shared their rich experience, learnings and failures with the other participants. This eventually is what makes us as a leader.
Eventually, you are solely responsible for your life and no one can do that for you. Each one of the participants eventually figured out what makes them perform at an extraordinary level and drives them going forward. Once they do know the recipe, it is just the process of following it to the T.
