5 Keys To Feel Like The Incredible Hulk

Every morning when you start your day, you REALLY want to feel like the Incredible Hulk.

You want to feel like a hero who is ready to seize the day.

And here’s the most important bit – You really want to seize the day and walk back home victorious.

The only way you are going to achieve your goals and create the life that you want is by making every single day count.

And in order for you to make every single day count, you have to FEEL and ACT like the Incredible Hulk.

So how do you do that? Here’s how…

The thing that stands between you and the Incredible Hulk state is your ENERGY LEVEL.

All of us have limited energy on a day to day basis. But if you take good care of yourself nutritionally and physically, you’ll have more than enough energy to make each day count.

With that said, here are 5 keys to feel and act like the incredible hulk…

Fuel Your Body:

Most people have a tendency to have a rushed breakfast or skip it all together. The reason why they skip breakfasts is because they’re running late for an appointment and don’t have the patience to sit down and eat.

And that’s a FATAL mistake.

Believe me; eating a healthy breakfast is one of the most important habits that you can develop. You must have your breakfast within 2 hours of waking up without fail.

Here’s why…

The first meal that you have sets the context for the day.

If you have a healthy food in the morning, the likelihood of you eating healthy for the rest of the day is higher. But if you end up eating junk food or go hungry  in the morning (during your break), you are more likely to binge on junk later in the day.

And on top of that, a solid breakfast gives you the energy you need to be brisk and sharp during the morning hours.

Fuel Your Mind:

In order to feel like the incredible hulk, it’s not enough to just fuel your body. You also have to fuel your mind.

You need to have the right attitude when you begin your day. And it’s important to carry that attitude for the entire day without fail.

The first hour as soon as you wake up is your Golden Hour. During this hour, you have to give your mind the direction it needs to go for the rest of the day.

During this time, here’s what I recommend that you do:

  • Review through the long-term goals that you have
  • Create mini small sub-goals for the day
  • Practice some affirmations to put you in the right mental state

Practice Deep Breathing:

There’s another important secret to feeling like the Incredible Hulk…

It’s your ability to breathe deep.

During my seminars, many of the participants chuckle when I tell them to practice deep breathing and how beneficial it would be.

It sounds like hocus pocus… but it works and I absolutely stand by it.

If done right, deep breathing is one of the fastest ways to raise your energy levels.

Here’s the 4-8-4 breathing technique that I recommend my clients use…

  • Breathe deeply for 4 seconds. Breathe in from your belly and not from your lungs. You have to feel your belly contract and expand
  • Hold the breath for 8 seconds
  • Breathe out for 4 seconds

Repeat this exercise for 10 – 15 times multiple times a day and you’ll easily be able to raise your energy level.

Increase Your Water Intake:

Not a lot of people enjoy or have the discipline to drink a lot of water throughout the day. If you’re one of them, you are missing out on the surprising energy benefits water provides.

But don’t worry. Instead of trying to drink more water, you can instead start eating fruits and vegetables like watermelons, greens, cucumbers, etc. They contain over 90% water.

The best part is that these fruits really do fill you up… so they can work as the ideal appetite suppressants.

Stop Sitting:

A few months ago I wrote an article about how sitting is the new smoking. Excessive sitting for long hours at a desk causes your posture to shrink.

And when your posture shrinks, your attitude shrinks, your energy levels decline and you won’t be able to feel like the incredible hulk.

If you’re serious about being a HULK throughout the day, it’s important to stand up and walk every now and then. Consider alternating between standing and sitting.

The more you move around, the more brisk and energetic you’ll feel. The more you sit and slouch, the more lethargic and fuzzy you’ll feel.
