Are you aware that the first one hour on waking up is what sets you up, to make the day most productive? Well! I have been writing over the years, about doing the right things before going to sleep and also during the actual sleep process.
However, it’s also critical as to how one conditions the mind and body from the time one wakes up.
The biggest opportunity which is there for each one of us to work on our goals is here, from the time we open our eyes and I am sure that like me, you also do not want this to be wasted away.
Some of the things which I have been doing over the years is what I am sharing with each one of you now.
Wake up with an attitude of gratitude:
Are you aware that there are millions of people all over the world everyday, who never wake up having gone to sleep the previous night? Well! It can very well be me or you tomorrow!
So it’s critical that one is grateful for the opportunity given to each one of us to prove our worth for one more day.
This way, instead of seeing the day as a burden that you have to“get through” you will begin to see it as an opportunity to do something meaningful and beneficial.
Breathe deeply:
Most of us miss out that, during the sleep patterns our breathing would have been very inconsistent. One of the most effective ways to regularize this is by breathing deeply and also imagining that your body is “filling up with energy” with every breath to get on with the day.
I also recommend my own clients to meditate during this time and then get up. By doing this simple exercise, you are not only conditioning your physical body, but also recharging your emotional area.
Wake up with a smile:
When was the last time you woke up with a smile on your face? Well! If you do not remember it, then it’s time to commit to wake up each & every day with a smile.
It may sound trivial to some of you, but believe me you will never regret it going forward. When you smile you are programming your own brain, to let in the feel-good hormones.
This also sets you up eventually to be more creative and productive through the day.
Pick on 3 things which excites you for the day:
I am a big believer of “Where we focus is where our energy flows”. So it’s prudent that we maximize our energy flow, to something more productive and constructive. When you have something you enjoy and look forward to, you are guaranteed to wake up with a purpose.
I personally focus on the 3 most important tasks for that particular day. It could be a client I am working with ,the chapter of the book I am Authoring right now, or how I spend my “ME-time” towards the end of the day.
Balance your Ph. level:
One of the most common things I have noticed over the years is that most people are acidic internally. This could be for several reasons. However, the most common reasons are the erratic food habits, unregulated stress and a very fast pace of life in general.
One of the easiest things to do is to have a big warm glass of water with a dash of lime juice to balance the Ph. level. There is tremendous value in balancing your Ph. level at the beginning of the day and you will notice the difference immediately.
If you do feel that you need to work on managing your energy and thereby eliminate burnout, do not think twice. I will be happy to help you out. Click on the link below
